Meta Ads

Facebook and Instagram as a lead channel, not a bulletin board with a promoted post once a quarter.

  • 6 hours – 2 daysStart
  • individuallyScope
  • MarketingArea

Who this is for

Beauty, food, e-commerce and B2C service brands.

Problem

A boosted post, pretty numbers in the summary and zero knowledge of whether anyone came from it. Reach always grows, so the agency shows reach. Meanwhile the money goes to people who live too far away or to people who would have come anyway, and the single creative has been running for four months and burned out long ago.

What We Do

We treat Meta as a sales channel: with measurement, with several audience groups and with creatives that are rotated.

  • Creatives from your photos and real prices — on the local market credibility sells better than stock photos
  • Separate campaigns for acquisition and for return of people who have already seen you
  • Separate campaigns for dead days of the week and for hours when you have free slots

What's Included

Setup once, management monthly. We enable the advanced version when one funnel is no longer enough.

  • Setup: campaign structure, audience groups, measurement, creatives, test plan
  • Management: campaign optimization, audience and creative tests, budget management, reporting
  • Advanced version: acquisition, remarketing, creative tests, funnel analysis, attribution, scaling

How Long It Takes

Start in 6 hours – 2 days. Then the platform decides: the first learning phase of the campaign is usually two weeks and during this time it's not worth changing anything, and a stable cost per lead appears in the second month. We change creatives every three to four weeks because in Meta they burn out faster than in search.

How Much It Costs

Setting a campaign up is a one-time job; running it is monthly work, and it grows with the number of funnels running in parallel — one funnel for one offer is not the same as acquisition, remarketing and scaling at once. The media budget you pay directly to Meta from your card: it does not pass through us and does not raise the cost of our work.

What You Get

A channel where you can predict the result: this much spent, this many requests, such cost per one. Advertising materials that are created regularly, not once a year. And the ability to turn on or mute traffic in the week when you actually need it.

How to tell a creative has burned out

Frequency = number of ad impressions ÷ number of unique people who saw it. Low frequency means the creative keeps reaching new people; rising frequency with the same audience means the same people are seeing it again and again. Rising frequency on its own does not decide anything — the signal to swap the creative is when it combines with a falling CTR (the share of impressions that get clicked) at the same audience and budget: people see the ad more often and click it less. You read both numbers straight from the campaign panel yourselves, without us — we look at them with you every week and swap the creative before the drop shows up in the cost per enquiry.

Meta Ads vs TikTok Ads — which one and when

Both platforms sell the attention of someone scrolling content, not someone searching — that is how they differ from search advertising. Between themselves, they differ in format and in how long a single creative keeps working.

  • Meta: image, carousel and video side by side in one campaign — you can test the format, not just the content
  • TikTok: essentially one format — short video — so the whole difference lies in the script and the first few seconds
  • Meta: a longer conversion-tracking history on the account usually makes it easier to reach a stable cost per enquiry sooner
  • TikTok: a younger audience and a different tone of voice — the ad has to look like the platform's content, not like a spot
  • Meta: separate campaigns for acquisition and for bringing back people who already visited the site work more maturely here than on TikTok

The choice between them depends on where your target audience actually is — and that is checked with a test budget on both platforms, not assumed in advance.

When Meta Ads makes no sense

There are situations where we talk you out of starting instead of selling it to you.

  • The target audience is narrow and professional (a niche B2B sector, say), and the purchase decision is made by one person after a long process — search or direct contact hits the mark better there
  • There is no consent to show real photos of the product, the workplace or people — a creative made only of graphics and slogans loses on credibility here
  • The budget is so small the campaign does not generate enough events a day to leave the learning phase — optimisation then becomes guesswork
  • Someone is already searching for exactly what you sell right now — that is a signal for search, not for a platform where nobody types anything in

What you prepare before the campaign launches

Setup only moves fast when it is not waiting on one missing thing.

  • A Meta Business Manager account set up for your company, with admin access for us
  • Photos and video of the product, the workplace or the team — real ones, not stock images
  • Approval to install the pixel or Conversions API on the site — without it there is no measurement, and without measurement there is nothing to discuss
  • Current prices visible in the creative, where the industry allows showing them — that shortens the path to an enquiry
  • Someone answering Messenger messages and comments under the ad, ideally in the evening too

The most common mistake in Meta Ads campaigns

The most common mistake is running one creative for months because “it's still working” — it is working worse and worse, but the decline is slow and invisible without a week-on-week comparison. The second is optimising for engagement (likes, reach, views) instead of enquiries — the report then looks good with an empty inbox, because the algorithm delivers what it was told to, and it was told to deliver reach, not contact. The third is one campaign mixing acquisition of new audiences with reminding people who already visited the site — the two groups react differently and eat into each other's budget when they sit in the same ad set. The fourth is a creative made only of graphics and text where competitors show real photos — on a local market, credibility beats polish.

How to check after a month that the campaign works

Measures you can work out yourselves from the campaign panel, without us.

  • Cost per enquiry compared week on week — daily fluctuations on this platform tell you nothing
  • Frequency and CTR of active creatives — a falling CTR alongside rising frequency signals it is time to change the material
  • Share of enquiries that ended in an order — a cheap enquiry without an order is not cheap
  • Number of enquiries from the remarketing campaign compared with the acquisition campaign — shows which group actually delivers results

What a Meta Ads campaign will not do

The campaign will not fix the page it leads to — if the form has seven fields or the price list is a file to download, paid traffic will pour out of it exactly the way free traffic does. It will not reply to a Messenger message or a comment under the ad — an enquiry left without a reply loses its value regardless of the budget paid for it. It will not replace real photos with better graphics — the algorithm and the audience judge the credibility of the material, not its production budget. And it will not guarantee organic reach or that a post “takes off” on its own — that is a different mechanism of the platform, one we do not control and do not sell as part of the service.

The account, pixel and data stay yours

The ad account is set up for your company in Meta Business Manager, and we work in it with partner access. When we end the collaboration we take nothing away: the account stays with the full campaign history, the pixel and event data collected on the site stay, the remarketing audiences built during the work stay, and every creative stays in its source files. You pay the ad budget straight to Meta from your own card the whole time, so you see every euro; we do not take a cut of the budget, because that model pays for burning money, not for results.

What you get

  • Campaign structure and audience segments
  • Creative direction and message variants
  • Pixel setup, ad-set tests and recurring optimisation

When the problem lies elsewhere

If your problem sounds different, neighbouring areas of the same system stand right next to it — AURA connects them to each other rather than selling them separately:

  • TikTok Ads — Short video as an acquisition channel, not a trend: native creatives, hook tests and acquisition cost calculated the same as in any other advertising.
  • SEO and maps — Visibility in Google and maps exactly where the client is looking — within a few streets.
  • Google Business Profile — Google Maps listing as a store window: categories, services, photos, posts, reviews and contact buttons.
  • Remarketing — We return to people who were already on the site and left without contact — second and third time, for a fraction of the first touch cost.

Next step

Tell us how this process looks at your company today: how many enquiries come in, who answers them and where they get lost. We will tell you what can be taken off a person, what is not worth touching, and how this area fits into the rest of the system.
